Frontier — A research question. Unexplored territory — not an established capability. What follows is a research question and a hypothesis, not a demonstrated capability.
THE PROBLEM
“A luxury boutique's stockroom is boring—just shelves. But what if the back wall was a 10m × 3m rear-projected surface? When a customer asks about a size or color not on the floor, the sales associate pulls it from stock and holds it in front of the rear-projected wall. The product is backlit from behind. The wall projects a contextual environment around the held item—the look, the styling, the lifestyle. A jacket suddenly appears styled on a model in Milan. Shoes appear on a runway. The customer buys because they see the narrative, not just the item. The stockroom becomes the most powerful sales tool in the store.”

THE QUESTION
“Can you make a stockroom more persuasive than a storefront? Can rear-projection be a sales psychology tool?”
