BRIEF 03 — LUXURY GOODS THEATER

The Product Transparency Illusion

$500M TAMUNCLAIMED

THE PROBLEM

“A watchmaker wants to sell a $200K watch by showing its internal mechanisms—the craftsmanship, the complexity. But the watch is opaque. Problem: customers can't see inside. Solution: rear-projected substrate where the watch is placed in front. The projection shows the watch's interior on the wall behind it. The customer sees the physical watch and simultaneously sees its guts magnified on the rear-projected surface. It's like X-ray vision. The customer understands the value (complexity = cost) instantly. They'll pay the premium because they see why it's expensive.”

REVENUE MODEL

$10K–20K per counter. Licensing to jewelry retailers.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Substrate preserving physical product in sharp focus while rear-projected interior visualization remains equally crisp. No ghosting. No double-image. Brain perceives simultaneous information.

MARKET

Luxury watch retailers, high-end jewelry stores, luxury goods boutiques, brand flagship stores.

THE QUESTION

“Can you show the inside of an opaque object? Can rear-projection reveal hidden value?”
